Already Glenn Greenwald is out with the deflections about how we’re not to “politicize” the murders of ten people in Buffalo at the hands of a white supremacist. The problem with that is the entire moment is political and has clear links to the exact ideology spoken of every other night on Fox News by people pushing grievance such as Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham.
When murderers leave behind manifestos that are copy/paste jobs from other mass murderers who have taken the same actions it can’t be ignored. For the right so often it’s all about deflection from the true facts of an event because the fact is there is no defending what Tucker Carlson is saying every night to a nation television audience.
Carlson has spoken on the white supremacist concept of “replacement theory” on his show many times.
